About Winter Write
Winter Write is an independent buying-guide site about e-readers and e-ink tablets. We help you work out which one suits the way you read, write and travel.
The brand team writes every page, and the brand is the author.
What we cover
We cover e-readers from Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook, Boox and Xteink, plus e-ink tablets for handwriting from reMarkable, Boox and the Kindle Scribe.
Some guides are best-of lists for a need, like a waterproof reader or one small enough for a pocket. Others compare two models head to head or answer a plain question, like how many books a Kindle holds.
How we work
For each device we read the maker's specs, compare screen size, storage, lighting and what comes in the box, and look at what buyers often report after using it. Then we write up the picks and explain who each one fits.

What we don't do
We don't make or sell e-readers, and no brand pays to be ranked.
We aren't affiliated with Kobo, PocketBook, Boox, Xteink, reMarkable, the Kindle team at Amazon or any other maker.
We also don't claim to have tested every device ourselves. When we say something about how a reader performs, we say whether it comes from the maker or from buyers.
How the site earns money
